We offer 1:1 speech, feeding, and language therapy as well as group classes like Social Jam and Feeding Groups! Rachael Rose is the owner and founder of Creative Speech Therapy NYC, which was established in 2015. Rachael’s favorite thing to talk about is speech, language, and feeding. She speaks publicly about pediatric feeding, oral placement therapy, social skills, and picky eating. She also teaches a graduate level course on pediatric feeding.

Rachael has worked for over 17 years with children from birth to twelve years. She earned 4 national awards for post-graduate education in the areas of pediatric feeding, speech/language, and social skills. Areas of speciality include assessment and treatment of apraxia, feeding delay/disorders, oral motor treatment, speech, and late talkers. Rachael is certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association and state licensed in New York. She also holds the certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (T.S.S.L.D).

Dani Edelstein Speech/Language Pathologist M.S. CCC – SLP, TSSLD Specialties include: working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD), genetic syndromes, feeding disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, Augmentative and Assistive Communication (AAC) and pragmatic language delays.

Dani is a warm, empathetic and committed speech language pathologist who focuses on making therapy both fun and functional. She values building strong connections with clients and collaborating with families.

Dani is certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds a state license in New York as well as a certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Dani received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and audiology from Ithaca College and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Hofstra university.

She has completed high level trainings such as PROMPT (Level 1 Training), Natural Language Acquisition (Meaningful Speech) and AEIOU: An integrated approach to pediatric feeding.

Christie Haggerty Speech/Language Pathologist M.S. CCC – SLP, TSSLD Specialties include: Language Development, Gestalt Language Therapy, Stuttering, and Apraxia

Christie is a dedicated and passionate speech language pathologist, whose goal is to make therapy a joyful and successful experience for her clients and their families. She is nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensed in New York. She also holds the certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (T.S.S.L.D).

Christie received her bachelor’s degree in English from Villanova University and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked with young children across Early Intervention, preschool age, and elementary school age populations in the home care, special education preschool, and private school settings. Christie prides herself on creating a safe, motivating, and fun environment for her clients as they work toward their speech and/or language goals. Christie is particularly excited about family training, as involvement of important adults in a child’s life can make all the difference in treatment outcomes.
